Carol Wright Hovey, MEd, CSCM

Carol has the experience to develop and manage Anchored at Home, the compassion and wisdom to serve the clients and the temperament to teach and support the staff.

Carol relocated to Newnan from Boston in 2005.  For about 9 years, she was a substitute teacher in the Coweta School System and enjoyed her students and her schools.

Her other favorite activities include sharing her life stories,  her extensive travels, writing poetry and being a faithful friend and dependable family member.  Her 92 year old mom continues to be active and the anecdotal reference for much of Carol's understanding of elder issues.  Her mom is the local historian, a poet and still a high soprano.

Carol is a proud mom, grandma, "Grandy" and  member of Newnan Post 57,  American Legion Auxiliary.

Anchored at Home is her ministry and passion!

Allison Thomas, BS, MBA, RN
Nurse Manager

Allison is a Registered Nurse with more than 30 yrs of experience. Her clinical experience includes working in the neonatal intensive care nursery and with patients with psycho emotional challenges.  In corporate America, she was Director of Health Services for a managed care insurance company.

While she was Director of Health Services, she was challenged to find quality home care for her dad when he became ill.  This experience was the inspiration of Anchored at Home, the private home care provider that would combine quality, compassion, professionalism and character.

Allison makes herself available to family and friends when medical guidance is requested.  She responds with pride.  One of her most favorite fun activities is walking and playing on the beach.

She and her husband reside in Newnan and have one daughter.
